• We have teamed up with all 3 Nikasil plating companies to offer the best cylinder replate service work for vintage models. Each plating company we work with provides different services, costs and turn around times. There are pros and cons to each one. We prep each cylinder here that goes to plating and catch and fix all the problems that often go unnoticed when they come back. We have been doing this a long time and this is more common than you'd think
• Includes (1) Nikasil replate service on your cylinder + piston kit, gasket kit, wrist pin bearing & lower dowel pin
• Options include: stud removal and installation, exhaust powervalve service, casting flaw porting work clean up, heli coil thread repairs, cylinder gasket area resurfacing, cylinder boring & welding plus weak / broken exhaust spring hook repairs
• Each cylinder is plated with exact tolerances to a specific piston kit
• OEM cast pistons deliver quicker revs and higher horsepower compared to heavier forged pistons
• Outer cylinder finish with be bare aluminum after replate
• Fits the 1986-1987 models
